Hello Roshean, I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how much of a good pilates instructor you are! I took one session with you at the studio in Copper ridge a year and a half ago and I loved it. I would like to testify to the merits of Roshean as a Pilates instructor.  When I approached Roshean for help I was in a desperate state.  I had had major back surgery and five years later had a total hip replacement.  Where once I used to run, play squash and lift weights, I found myself unable to walk properly.  I knew that my limbs and back and, well, everything was askew.  I had no balance in my walk anymore.  With a major trip to Europe coming up within a few months, I needed help.  Male friends had been trying pilates and indicated some promise.  I went online and found Roshean, who happened to live nearby, which was good.  I contacted her, explained my problem and she thought that she could help me.  Worried about how I would ever be able to work out on a mat and get up afterward (my view of Pilates then) I was surprised that we would be working with the Pilates apparatus such as the Reformer and the Cadillac.  But they worked!!  Over the next few months, Roshean helped me get back to a normal walk, with balance and control.  Even my back seemed more flexible than before.  I subsequently went to Europe and over 5 weeks walked every day, sometimes for hours.  I know that without the instruction and encouragement that Roshean provided, I would not have been able to do it.  She is a superb instructor, constantly explaining why we were doing a certain exercise and why she thought it would help my problem in particular.  I cannot recommend Roshean too strongly.  If you need help, contact her.

Last week I ran into a friend that I hadn't seen in a while. The first thing she said to me was that I looked taller. My response was,"I have Pilates to thank for that!" I came to Roshean with serious lower back pain and a noticeably rounded upper back. This was due to having a weak core. Roshean taught me to engage my core through a series of fun and dynamic movements which strengthened my core and toned both my upper and lower body. Roshean is caring, knowledgeable and very passionate about Pilates. Within a short period of time, she has helped me transform my body and as a result I am stronger, more confident and standing tall!
